[005] Before the summer, there is the spring
"Well, I really think we ought to be moving along once more," Tristran says as he begins to pick up the mess of things left in their room -- socks, dirty plates, cups, and other things of the sort. "We've been staying here for far too long."
He's been dreaming of home lately. As soon as he regained the ability to breathe properly and move about as energetically as he used to, he's been feeling restless for the journey ahead of him.
At first he didn't think much of these dreams, but soon he was dreaming of Victoria again, and of the day he returned to her -- with the star.
A sock hangs off the end of their bed, and he scoops it up, turning to Yvaine with a slightly serious expression on his face. "And we haven't had the chance to check on the unicorn either," he adds. Perhaps if he appeals to Yvaine's fondness for the unicorn, she will be more likely to cooperate with him. "I'm sure he must be eager to move around in Faerie once more."
Now, he manages a slight smile of a sort as though to say, 'Hmm?'

He grabs one of the door's great handles and pulls it forward, revealing a semi-bright interior. The smell of hay and horse greet him and reminds him of the stables back home.

"Well," she breathes, brightening instantly. "Hello there."

The unicorn huffs, pushing at her shoulder until she unlatches the gate with a mutter that sounds awfully like 'impatient bugger' and a roll of blue eyes.
"Tristran caught death, it would have been rude to drag him out into the snow."

"It's quite nice out," he says to the unicorn. "I'm sure you'll enjoy being able to stretch your legs as well."

Tristran, as not to be left out, gets flicked rather solidly by the unicorn's tail as he passes.
"Such love," Yvaine mutters, snatching Tristran's arm once more and slowly following after.

The trees are a neat canopy, the weather is pleasant, and the path is considerably more agreeable than most of the ones in Faerie.
The right now isn't looking so terrible at all.

However, it is pleasant and peaceful and he feels quite content under the circumstances. He links his arm with Yvaine's, quite instinctively, as they follow the white majestic beast ahead of them.
